Another week, another wave of speculation concerning President Donald Trump and his ailing (or not, as the case very much may be) health.

Being the POTUS means that you’re in the spotlight at all times, and when you’re a president like Donald Trump, well, the spotlight shines all the brighter.

With the fact that Trump is quickly approaching 80 in mind, it’s hardly a surprise that rumors insisting he’s experiencing health issues are becoming evermore prevalent.

Add to that the fact that he’s been seen on multiple occasions sporting large bruises on his hands, and the fact that people insist he’s dozed off in more than one important meeting, and you have the basic ingredients for a conspiracy theory leaning towards the idea that Trump is suffering from problems that we, the public, aren’t aware of.

Of course, it’s all conjecture until the day it’s proven beyond doubt, and it must be noted that Trump continues to get around and show face with an energy that belies his years.

Even so, new concerns were sparked following a speech the President gave at the White House’s “Champion of Coal” event on Wednesday, February 11.

The occasion saw Trump signing an executive order directing the Department of War to purchase coal power. In keeping with the oft weird and wacky theatrics that have become commonplace with the current administration, Trump was quickly hailed the ‘undisputed champion of beautiful clean coal’. He also received a trophy for… well, for signing the necessary documents.

After claiming his prize, Trump gave a speech to the audience gathered at the event, saying: “I’m thrilled to welcome to the White House the men and women who light our cities. You know, you do things that people don’t even understand.

“You heat our homes, fuel our factories, and turn natural resources into American riches and dreams. Our amazing coal miners.”

Later on his address, though, Trump appeared to slur his words, prompting comments from people online.
