 Family gatherings are supposed to bring people closer together. But sometimes, one unexpected moment can expose years of ignored behavior, strained relationships, and a complete lack of accountability.

Everyone had gathered at my brother’s house to enjoy the warm  weather. The kids were laughing in the  pool, adults were chatting over lunch, and everything seemed perfectly normal.
