A 20-year-old man was shot dead outside his home, with the killer firing seven bullets into his body. The young man was taken to an ambulance in critical condition, but died on the way to the hospital.
According to preliminary data, this is a matter of revenge, as a few months ago, Mutaev and his friends humiliated the teenager in public.
It is believed that this is not the killer's first attempt at revenge. Some time ago, there was another assassination attempt on Magomedrasul Mutayev. Then the shots fired missed the target.
Mutaev is one of the most prominent students of Russian MMA legend Khabib Nurmagomedov. In 2022, he won a silver medal at a prestigious competition in Russia. To date, he has only had one match in professional mixed martial arts tournaments.
In the summer of 2023, at a gala evening in Moscow, Magomedrasul Mutayev easily defeated Elgun Yasibov (Azerbaijan). His next match was scheduled to take place on February 23, 2024, against Iranian Keyvan Reza Dalini.
