This is the story of Katya – born into an ordinary Russian family, but with a very rare disease – severe premature aging syndrome.

24 years ago, Irina became the mother of a baby girl.

However, she immediately notices the wrinkles on her daughter's face, which are not typical of babies.

The child begins to age day by day. New wrinkles constantly appear before his eyes. The doctors immediately make the severe diagnosis of “progeria” and tell the parents that the child does not have a functioning liver. The father cannot stand this news and decides to abandon his family.

"I can't look at her anymore" is the last thing he says to his wife.

Irina decides to give Katya a peaceful and happy childhood at all costs and to live every day as if it were her last.

Despite the doctors' predictions, Katya continues to grow. Unfortunately, with each passing year she endures insults from her peers.

"Grandma, why are you wearing a short skirt?" or "Since you're a grandmother, why are you pretending to be a child?".

 

 

Every time she hears such things about herself, Katya cries bitterly. Children nowadays can be very cruel.

However, the girl decides to conquer everyone not with her appearance, but with her mind. After all, according to her, the most important thing in a person is his soul.

 

Katya learns to accept and love herself. Then people respond to her in the same way, and those who still make fun of her are scolded by society.

Just think – there are only 20 people like Katya in the world. However, her cheerfulness gives hope to anyone who is damaged like her. After a few years, she meets the love of her life, with whom they decide to get married.

 

 

The two met in a completely unexpected way. One dialed the other's number by chance. They started talking and eventually called each other every day. At one point they decided to meet and despite the girl's fears that she wouldn't be accepted because of her appearance, love flared up between them. On the wedding day, Katya was the happiest bride.

 

 

Not long after, the couple announced that they were expecting a baby. They had fears that the child might have the same pathology as Catherine, but after 9 months they saw that they had a completely healthy and beautiful son. Unfortunately, the couple's second child was born with the same pathology as the mother. This mentally devastated the father, who did not want to acknowledge the child, began to drink and assault his wife.

 

 

Katya couldn't stand it and divorced her husband.

In 2011, Katya entered a reality show, where she underwent plastic surgery, but this did not solve her problem.

However, the woman is not discouraged and tries to live in peace with herself. Currently, Katya works in a stable company and supports her family.
