The driver of the truck involved in the accident on the road between the villages of Mikre and Izvorche near Lovech today, which killed a father and daughter, was illegally transporting wood and driving without a license, GlasNews reports, citing sources in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
They specify that he has numerous traffic offenses and a record in the police system.
We remind you that today at around 10:00 a.m. a car and a truck collided head-on near Lovech. A 30-year-old female passenger in the front seat died at the scene.
Her 55-year-old father, who was driving the car, was taken to hospital, but doctors were unable to save him.
The truck driver left the scene of the accident.
Officers from the Regional Department of the Ministry of Interior in Lovech are searching for the driver. They already have guidelines and witness statements for their work.
